Mark handles complex family law matters involving divorce (property division and custody), custody modifications, and enforcement of court orders. An experienced trial attorney, Mark honed his courtroom skills in commercial litigation for a number of years before focusing his practice exclusively in the family law area. Mark is known for his diligent preparation and the zealous representation he provides his clients, as well as his relentless pursuit of fair and just solutions to child custody and complex property division issues. During what many clients consider one of the most difficult times in their lives, Mark prides himself on providing compassionate, personal attention and accessibility.
Mark E. Wewers has been recognized by his peers and named a Texas Super Lawyer and a Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star in Texas Monthly Magazine’s SuperLawyer edition.
Mark is a graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law where he was a staff member of the Oklahoma City University Law Review and a member of the Phi Delta Phi honorary legal fraternity. Mark also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Kansas.
